Latino Studies explores the diverse realities affecting the Latina/x/o presence in the United States as well as elsewhere in the diaspora. The Latino Studies journal—

  • Analyzes Latina/x/o culture at the local, national, transnational, and hemispheric levels.
  • Offers comprehensive insight into the struggles of Latina/x/o people for equality, representation, and social justice.
  • Pursues an international research agenda that builds bridges between the academic and nonacademic worlds and promotes mutual learning and collaboration among all the Latino national groups.
  • In addition to original research, publishes “Páginas Recuperadas,” highlighting historically significant individuals and archival documents; “Vivencias,” participant essays on activist efforts and community engagement; “Reflexiones Pedagógicas,” essays on pedagogical innovations; and “El Foro,” essays on pressing current events; as well as book and media reviews
