    Harbour Energy, one of the world’s largest independent oil and gas companies, has completed a $750m senior notes offering through Harbour Energy Finance plc, its wholly owned subsidiary.   This acquisition marks its strategic entry into the U.S., strengthening its global portfolio and establishing another core business unit.   Led by partner Giacomo Reali, our capital markets team advised the initial purchasers on the offering.     Linklaters advised Standard Chartered as the sole lead manager on the debut issuance by Standard Chartered Bank of Digitally Native Notes on Euroclear's Digital Financial Market Infrastructure (D-FMI). This landmark transaction is the first D-FMI issuance by a UK issuer and the first issuance of Digitally Native Notes using a trustee structure. We have continually been at the centre of the digitisation of the financial markets, through the development of new platforms, the use of novel technologies and thought leadership. The team was led by Andrew Chaplin and Richard H., who were supported by Sam Quicke, Mandy Kan, Declan McGrath, Petra Tang, Jake Dyer, Brigitte N, Anne-Sophie Vankemmelbeke and Andreas Van Impe.     ReNew Energy Global Plc has recommended an offer from a consortium comprising of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and ReNew founder, chairman and CEO Sumant Sinha.   The offer values ReNew at approximately US$2.8bn on a fully diluted basis and implies an enterprise value of approximately US$10.2bn.    We advised the Board's Special Committee on this complex, cross-border transaction, combining English law, SEC and Nasdaq expertise to protect minority shareholders throughout the process.   The mandate reinforces our market-leading track record on landmark public takeovers, including Tate & Lyle on its £2.7bn recommended cash offer from Ingredion Incorporated and Prologis,Inc. on its recommended £14bn offer for SEGRO.   The cross-practice team was led by partners Sushil Jacob, Mike Bienenfeld and Igor Rogovoy.   Read more here: https://lnkd.in/eTnfFWpm

    SoftBank has secured $1.75bn in cross-border financing to support its acquisition of ABB Robotics, with Linklaters advising the arrangers and underwriters on the transaction. ABB Robotics is the world's second-largest industrial robotics manufacturer, with an installed base of more than 430,000 robots across 44 countries. This deal highlights the strength of our Leveraged Finance team in advising sophisticated financial sponsors on some of the largest, most complex and innovative deals in the market.     Congratulations to our client Prologis, the world’s largest logistics real estate company, on its recommended offer for SEGRO plc. The £14bn offer for SEGRO represents the largest UK public M&A transaction in recent years. The transaction is expected to complete in the first half of 2027, with Prologis to implement a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange concurrently with completion.    The Linklaters team was led by corporate partners Iain Fenn and Jonathan Sadler, supported by Patrick Fincham, and continues Linklaters’ track record advising on market-leading public M&A transactions.
