Silly Robots Contest
Who said robots need to be serious?
On Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 6–10pm,
Founders Inc is gathering builders from around San Francisco to showcase robots doing whimsical, silly, funny, or completely unnecessary things.
Build your robot beforehand, then bring it to the event ready to demo. Autonomous or stationary, wheeled or legged, elegant or held together by zip ties. All embodiments are welcome!
Bring your cursed kinematics, unnecessary degrees of freedom, questionable reward functions, and beautifully overengineered mechanisms.
The only goal: make people laugh.
