    -1 You should be able to vote as you read the answers, or else you'll forget to vote. But for a certain time period, the votes shouldn't be visible to anyone else, and shouldn't affect the order of the answers, to make sure they get a fair amount of votes. Commented Oct 25, 2017 at 14:09
