The Malaysian certified integrity officer basically are aware and familiar with The Adequate Procedures. However, if you think “adequate procedures” are just another compliance checklist, think again. Under Section 17A of the MACC Act, they can be the difference between protection and prosecution. Adequate procedures mean you’ve: • Set the tone for integrity from the very top. • Identified and managed corruption risks. • Put in place real, working controls — not just policies on paper. • Trained and reminded your people that integrity isn’t optional. When the storm hits and your company faces investigation, you want proof that you’ve done everything possible to prevent wrongdoing. **Integrity isn’t built by chance — it’s built by design. Adequate procedures are that design.

Ensuring Quality in Education through ISO 21001:2018 Surveillance Audit Grateful to be involved once again in the 1st Surveillance Audit of ISO 21001:2018 at Sekolah Kristen Immanuel (Pontianak). Conducted from May 13–15, 2025, this audit covered all educational levels from Kindergarten, Primary, Junior High, Senior High, Vocational School, to the IBC (International Baccalaureate Class) program. 🎯 What was assessed? ✔️ The quality of learning and curriculum across units ✔️ Availability and functionality of learning facilities (classrooms, labs, library, health unit) ✔️ Evaluation of the quality system: internal audit, management review, document control ✔️ Compliance with ISO 21001:2018 clauses including operational planning, learner requirements, and instructional system design 💡 This audit wasn’t just about documentation, but also an in-depth review of real implementation on-site — how teaching is carried out, how teachers are engaged, and how the school management follows up on stakeholder satisfaction surveys. 🤝 The multi-level engagement — from school principals, vice-principals, teachers, to the quality and HR teams — reflects a strong collective commitment toward continual improvement. 🔗 ISO 21001 is more than just a certificate — it is a framework for embedding quality culture and educational leadership.
