How the licenses work
An activation is a computer (Windows or MacOS), not an account.
There is no login in Nomad, the key is tied to the machine ID. All the user sessions
of that computer share the same activation. Reformatting or replacing a machine
changes its ID and uses a new activation, so free the old one before wiping it.
One license: 1 key for 2 computers. You can free a device at any
time in the
portal
and activate another one.
Multiple seats: the buyer does not receive the keys. After
paying, open the
portal
(sign in with the purchase email), go to Orders → View order and invite
one email per seat, including your own if you use one. Everybody gets their own key
for 2 computers and manages it themselves.
Classroom / Lab: one key with N activations, kept by the buyer.
There is no email to invite and nothing for the students to manage, the same key is
entered on the N machines.
Command line: activations can be handled without opening the app,
this is the usual way to deploy a lab.
Pass a file containing the key instead of the key itself, it stays out of
the shell history and the task manager. Running
--activate again on an activated machine is safe, it
validates first and does not take a second activation.

Internet: Nomad checks the key online from time to time. It keeps
working offline for 15 days. On a restricted network, whitelist
https://license.nomadsculpt.com and https://api.polar.sh.
I bought on iPad or Android Mobile
There is no key and no activation on the App Store, Google Play and AppGallery: the app
belongs to the store account that paid for it. To get it back on a new device, sign in with
that same account and install it again, there is nothing to free and nothing to transfer.

Why didn't I receive a desktop verification code? Desktop
Confirm that you bought the desktop version, used the correct email, and checked spam/junk.
Still nothing? Contact [email protected] or [email protected]. Nomad support can verify your purchase or change its email (for example, to Gmail, Proton, etc), but cannot see why delivery failed; some email providers reject the message or do not support modern TLS.

Nope. Purchase orders and custom invoicing are not supported.
