The team has had a great first day at CheeseExpo in Wisconsin! 🧀 If you’re heading along, be sure to stop by and have a chat with us at Booth 642. We’ve got our new and improved Defect and Foreign Object Detection (DFOD) machine live on the stand. The DFOD is powered by AI technology and can detect foreign objects in cheese blocks, bagged or unbagged, down to 10mm. The DFOD inspects all sides of every cheese block, ensuring that no mold, plastic, or other contaminants are missed before further processing. Learn more about the DFOD here: https://lnkd.in/ejYpPF4k MHM is proud to be part of the Fortifi Food Processing Solutions Group.

Harvest 2026 Grainstacker Fabrication is underway. Chassis and Booms moving through the workshop. Given the global uncertainties, risk profiles for Grain Harvest continue to rise. As a forward thinking, client focused business, our design teams are busy calibrating a solar power solution for our Grainstackers. Working through the amount of panel space above our generators, the size and capacity of battery storage required, we are looking to add redundancy to your Harvest working hours. We are in the middle of our largest Grainstacker Fabrication season ever. With an increased number of clients recognizing our market leading, highly maneuverable and large tonnage throughput capacity units for the Australian Grain Industry. The good news???? In conjunction with our sold units, we still have a couple of units available for Harvest 2026. Consistent rain events across Australia pre-planting, this bodes well for a bumper harvest. Get in quick. Talk to us today. #Fortifi #MHM #grain #grainstackers #harvest2026 #Wheat #Barley #Pulses #solar #materialshandling #PrimaryIndustry

Two of our senior engineers, Shane Daly and Andrew Fowler, recently sat down with Food Engineering Magazine to discuss the complex challenges of reverse packaging and how 3D vision systems and smart engineering approaches are helping processors rethink problems and unlock new productivity. It’s a great conversation on where the industry is heading, and the role our automation is playing in solving operational challenges. Read the full article below 👇 https://lnkd.in/eW2NkyEc

This Robotic De-Boxing Cell (DDRP-MB) represents the next generation of MHM Automation’s proven robotic de-boxer, developed to handle both lined and unlined cartons. Unlike lined cartons commonly used in the US, linerless cartons, more typical in the UK & Ireland, do not include an additional cardboard liner for strength. This system has been engineered to cut accurately through linerless cartons without damaging the product inside, ensuring safe, consistent de-boxing every time. Our unique cutting and carton removal technology is designed to process linerless cartons with precision and reliability. In this video, two Robotic De-Boxing Cells are shown operating simultaneously, demonstrating efficient, high-performance automation in action. The outer packaging is safely removed, presenting an undamaged product ready for downstream processing.
