Desiree Murphy

Desiree also conducts interviews, covers red carpets and reports on events in Los Angeles, where she’s currently based. While she’s well-versed in all areas of the entertainment industry, Desiree is most passionate about covering “Dancing With the Stars,” music, fashion and TV. Desiree grew up in Rome, New York, and began her career in LA in 2011 after graduating from the University of South Carolina, where she was captain of the dance team and a writer/correspondent for the Carolina Reporter and InterCom magazine. She previously worked as a senior writer/reporter for Entertainment Tonight and as executive editor for Tiger Beat and BOP magazines. She’s been featured on Reelz, Music Choice, AfterBuzz TV and various radio shows, and she has written for Seventeen, Bridal Guide, Chicago Tribune and more. Desiree enjoys spending time with friends, hitting the beach, hiking, traveling, yoga/dance and attending concerts and sporting events.
