MUBI: Curated Cinema

A lot of cannes film festival type movies but a lot of obscure stuff for better or worse. Problem is they don't have their own content first! Yes you read that correctly. The substance is a MUBI original so they should have it first right? Wrong and I had to watch it somewhere else at the time. Overall there isn't much "charm" in terms of selection and availability. I'm also not seeing features like HDR and 4k for a lot of content.

Since this rating is for the app functionality and not the service itself (which is superb), I have to take off one star because I continuously get the same issue: after finishing the movie (all the way to the end), it keeps on staying in "continue watching" tab. There are movies I finished weeks ago and they still populating the said tab. Can this glitch be resolved? Also, a dark mode option would be nice. The whiteness in the app is blinding.

this is a total scam. I signed up for free trial. didn't like it so tried to cancel it before free trail was over. the subscription won't show up anywhere even though email says I'm subribed. I contacted mubi customer service and all they do is say they are very busy and keep an eye on my email. this is ridiculous. so customer service won't contact. keep you waiting and whole time trying to charge me. even though informed I didn't want service.
