| Feb 27, 2017 at 1:13 | comment | added | mnem | @dirkt but wouldn't you normally run CPM in 80-column mode, which bypasses the VIC and uses the 8563 VDC (or in DCR models the 8568 DVDC)? The VDC has its own video RAM which suggests it wouldn't effect performance in that mode. Maybe if you were using it in 40-column mode with the VIC due to the lack of a RGBI monitor? | |
