Funny thing is that the first Season is mostly about their internal struggle just to accept their relationship and to admit this to Shane's parents.

I hope they don't take years for the second season and grab this momentum to explore the real problem of homophobia from fans, sport colleagues and sponsors... People outside their relationship who they need to interact.

Steve Rogers will return. Not Captain America Steve Rogers wil return.

So Steve went back to the 50's, when segregation in housing and education made for some serious inequality for African Americans. And he gave the shield to a black man.

Is he going to say to Wilson "Please return the shield to me?" Is Wilson going to say "Here, have the shield because you are more worthy than I", going against the whole point of him being enough of a hero in the last Captain America movie?

Is he a stay at home father, while his wife, assuming is Peggy, is SHIELD Director? While she is approving Paperclip Operation and recruiting Zola (who tortured his best friend) and other HYDRA and Nazis to work for them?

Has he saved Bucky from HYDRA? Is he going to prevent JFK assassination in 1963? Or prevent Howard Stark and his wife to die?

Yeah. I'm one of those people who thought his decision to going back in time for Peggy was an awful decision in terms of character development. Just my opinion.

But who are they? Who is the "real" avengers team lead by Sam?

You are already pushing for another team just because it's lead by Captain America without knowing any of its members. We could assume some names, like Kate "Hawkeye" Bishop, but there is no team. Not yet.

And why separate? Why we cannot have a merge of the two teams? Shouldn't that be a lesson that "United we are stronger"?

At this point, we have no way to assume that Sam's team will be better or worse than the Thunderbolts.
