I think the symbiote has possessed Peter in the film and it will continue to develop the black symbiote arc in Doomsday and Secret Wars. That's why he has the black eyes, organic webbing, even more enhanced abilities and more. Then, introduce Eddie Brock in the second Spiderman film, of what is supposed to be a new trilogy, and have him become Venom.

It already is a masterpiece but if it does as well as season 1 it could definitively be cemented not only as a legacy series and a classic modern

day masterpiece but one of the greatest superhero shows of all time, in live action or animation.

That was Morph shapeshifting into Deadpool fighting what looks like the Brood in the trailer. I think it's foreshadowing like in season 1 with Morph becoming Lady Deathstrike and Sabretooth as references and easter eggs and how they are actually now involved in season 2. The same will probably happen with Deadpool for season 3.
