Many movies bring back characters that have "died".

Until the series title is "John Wick Chapter Finale", never assume that John has died.

You assume that John died at the end.

That makes an ass out of u. 😎

John Wick is John Wick.

Jason Bourne is Jason Bourne.

James Bond is still James Bond.

The point being is that the audience... us, know full well what type of movie we are going to get from each of these franchises. That's why each one is special.

Just like Star Trek and Star Wars will never be mistaken for the other. Same goes for these action films.

Take out the Martini and the PPK, or the Shake of the first person fight and the Moby song and it is no longer 007 or Bourne.

Really? The title of the movie with the inclusion of "Part 1" and now "Part 2" is the issue. I suppose the easiest fix is this. "Wicked part 2: For Good

Well this article just wasted 5 minutes of my time that I will never get back.

I am one of the few who did not like Monk.

I found it too easy to figure out who did the deed.

Many series have come and gone.

The best is still going on to season 23 in the fall, and while it is somewhat predictable, it does usually keep you guessing as to the Who, What, and Why.

Of course no show can top Sherlock Holmes for keeping you guessing until the end.

Ben Affleck solo Batman movie not being made was definitely a huge mistake... But this is of course DC who teased us with Henry Cavill return as Superman in the end of Black Adam.

As for the broody Batman, it appears that DC was going for the Frank Miller Dark Knight Returns Graphic Novel Batman where Batman is more violent that before.

And as far as The Batman... This was basically Batman Year One & Two in comicbook lore, when Batman is still starting out, so he is not quite up to the Greatest Detective status as of yet, which is still held to this day by Sherlock Holmes. In fact the Penguin even made a joke about that in his "interrogation" by Batman and Lieutenant Gordon. So I would not be so hard on them for that.

As far as the nuclear bomb ... It wasn't likely that huge of a bomb as the League of Shadows wanted to reset Gotham not destroy it altogether. Even if they did, Bane and Raj al Gul's daughter may not have been the greatest at getting a full nuclear weapon into play. Thankfully.

What's truly scary? 1,770,242 USA voters, whose vote decided the current political situation in the USA.

If there was a future Hetty Lange episode, it would also hopefully explain how Sam Hanna ended up being on NCIS Hawaii before it was cancelled. Since neither Sam nor Jane Tennant discuss Hetty in any episodes that I can remember, I would believe that the mission was ... Successful (?) with Nell and Callum...?

This is why I avoid trailers and reviews like the plague!

All I needed to know was the Title, the Actors and when it comes out.

Too many times "critics" are too critical, they forget about the movie and just write something "critical" while the actual audience may find the film is really really good.

Has happened way to often.

Promotion departments need to stop thinking a movie is going to flop and let the audience decide.

Here is a unique suggestion!

Only do a 10 sec glimpse of the upcoming movie in the first trailer! Then a week later do a 20 sec trailer finally after the first week of the movie's release give the full 30 trailer! And do not put all of the best parts in any of the trailers! How revolutionary an idea that is! I take cash or certified money order 😁

Actually there were a couple of times that Sherlock was in "disguise" . Once as a maitre'd which was a flimsy disguise and once as the ship's Captain, who was actually Mycroft Holmes.

Not surprised. Usually the Oscars go to stuff that is less "commercial" fare.

There has been many outcrys over the years, Margo Robbie, Top Gun Maverick, Spiderman Far From Home, so it is not a shock that Deadpool and Wolverine fell on deaf ears or blind eyes as the case maybe.

An Oscar is great, but validation from fans and the ticket gate IMO is better.

Look how long it took for the Oscars to get the first Black man, Black Woman, Chinese Woman, Chinese Man recognized!

The Oscars statue is appropriate for not having any "real" eyes.

Saw parts of Joker 2 - glad I didn't pay for it.

Madame Web was ok. Not great. Not bad. Bad costumes and plot was "whatever".

Kraven I enjoyed just a weird reference to why Kraven would be come an enemy of Spiderman.

Let's see what the MCU has this year! Waiting for another month! For Brave New World - ugh!

Venom was popular mainly thanks to The Todd McFarlane years on Spiderman and then the Venom comic book series.

While the Toby McGuire Spiderman 3 dove into Venom with Topher Grace as Venom in closer unity with the comicbook origin, Tom Hardy made a better Venom.

Morbius suffered from terrible marketing. When I saw the clips I thought "oh another horror film - same for the New Mutants" - which was not quite what the comic books were really. Yet in watching these movies in streaming they were not as horrific as marketing made them out to be.

Madame Web for all its attempts was disappointing as the three girls and the villian were not (seriously) in the original comic books of the 60's, 70's, or 80's. That said it was an okay movie that just wasn't spun well and the villian wearing a Black Spider-Man costume was extremely confusing and unimaginative.

Kraven, while interesting needed Spiderman, whether in the movie or near the end as Kraven is linked to Spider-Man, just not as popular as Venom is.

Sony unfortunately just can't stop stepping in and influencing how the movie adaptations should be done.

Here's to the next Time Holland Spider-Man and a hopeful shout out to the third installment of the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man story line as it was and should have been made. Maybe just let the MCU do it instead of Sony.

Black Widow is Hawkeye's children's Godmother (if I remember correctly) and his friend.

There is no surprise that he would hold back a little bit due to this.

And as Black Widow stated Hawkeye saved her before and that would be a great way to bring Scarlett Johansson's version back in a movie showcasing this story.

Henry's portrayal of Superman and Clark IMO was spot on. Living in the "real" world is hard and although Superman is a symbol for Hope and Optimism, everyone including the Man of Steel are still "human" and show human feelings. After all, Clark was raised on Earth and was taught Human values.

Just because you didn't like it or understood the explanation doesn't mean that the rest of us didn't.

If you truly were as smart as you think you are, then the explanation was simply elementary! Sherlock even explained it to Anderson and like Anderson, you disagree with the explanation. How sad for you.

To state that this made Sherlock season 3 worse is an opinion.

I and many of my friends quite enjoyed it.

As for the sister, while it may not have been "canon" this is an "interpretation" of Sherlock Holmes and Watson. It was genius IMO to show Sherlock's background and had been hinted since Season 1 or did you miss those nuggets as well?

If you want to write about how you did not enjoy the Season fine. Just don't make it sound as if the rest of us fans are like you.

Not a fan of Joker 2.

Liked Madame Web as a good effort. The story was predictable but better than Joker 2.

Didn't see the Crisis movies as they are not available in my area.

Deadpool was dead on at number One.

The Spider-Man Home Trilogy was just a tad better. When you can get all three Spider-Men in a movie....(the Cavierine not withstanding).. it's just too amazing!

The New Mutants: suffered from a weird marketing campaign as much as anything else. It sounded like a horror film and that was not how the comic book of the same name was! Many fans myself included did not go as it was not clear that this was the X-Men's New Mutants. Watching it on one of the streaming platforms showed it was not bad. Not great but not bad either.

Wonder Woman 1984: After such a great 1st film, it seemed strange to go to some sort of bizarre adventure in time. It also did not make sense that neither Batman nor Superman would have come to the assistance of WW with all the things that were happening. Ending was predictable. Bringing back Steve was a mistake IMO.

The Flash: An Actor who is too into him/her self and has so much baggage due to all the lawsuits and weirdness was a major problem. The film itself was ok but it was only good when Michael Keaton showed up. Supergirl could have been drawn out more and the multiple Batman's while everyone else is the same character didn't make much sense.

Kraven the Hunter: Have not seen it but do want to.

The Marvels: it was actually not a bad movie. Would definitely had helped if the other two characters were as well known as Carol Danvers.

Morbius: saw on streaming not bad not great again poor marketing did not help.

As for the other films: meh
