See All62 Years Later, Ian Fleming’s 105-Episode Spy Thriller Is Still The Best James Bond Replacement On TV
Agree that the movie doesn't get the love it deserves, but I cannot forgive the reboots horrific misinterpretation of Illya Kuryakin. Like a super hero movie that disses the source material, Ritchie's "Man" leaves one of the most critical parts of the original's success in the dust bin for a one-dimensional automaton cliche pulled straight from Cold War tropes. In the show, Illya was a scientist, a chess master, and whilst being little more than a sidekick in the original season, he developed into an indispensable character. So much more could have been done with better casting and a more studied reinterpretation. Cavill, on the other hand, was every bit a triumph in his re-imagining of Solo. Hard to understand why one could be so perfect and the other so utterly off.
Netflix’s Shōgun Replacement Is So Good, It’s Officially Returning For Season 2
Not to be a stickler, but Shogun specifically chronicles the final years of the Sengoku period, not the Edo period. The Edo Period begins officially at the end of the battle of Sekigahara, depicted as a flash forward at the very end of Shogun. Season 2 will be showing the beginning of the Edo, which is the period in which Blue Eye Samurai is set. You are spot on, however, in saying that this animated show is excellent.

The Mandalorian And Grogu Box Office Debut Exceeds Expectations, Still One Of Star Wars' Worst (Domestic Top 5)
I just wish this was another season of the show. It doesn't quite make the grade as a must-see feature, and most reviews agree. It's a fattened up episode of a good TV season. Let's do good on D+, Disney, and make the trip to the cinema great. A bargain budget production as a Star Wars movie seems completely a waste of expensive fan cinema time.
