Add third-party verification to a creative

From January 7, 2025 manual tag wrapping will no longer be available in Display & Video 360. We recommend using automated tag wrapping as an alternative.

To prevent serving ads on the wrong sites, you can wrap creatives with technology from third-party verification services.

If you use a verification service to report on where your ads serve, you must remove anonymous inventory from your line items.
Tip to save you time:
  • If you sync creatives from Campaign Manager 360, turn on automated third-party verification. When it's on, Campaign Manager 360 wraps your creatives before sending them to Display & Video 360.

Add verification to display and video creatives

You have two options to add verification to your creatives:

  • Creatives synced from Campaign Manager 360: Enable Automatic Tag Wrapping in Campaign Manager 360. Learn more about how to enable automated third-party verification.
  • Creatives uploaded to Display & Video 360: You can upload an already wrapped tag or URL into Display & Video 360. Follow the steps below for display and video creatives:
    1. Open an advertiser, then click Creatives in the left menu.
    2. Click New.
    3. Select Third party to choose the ad type (Audio, Display or Video) from the dropdown menu.
    4. Fill in the details required to create a new third-party creative.
    5. Save the creative.
