Set up a YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium Two-person plan

Get a YouTube Two-person plan to share YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium with one other member of your household.

Two-person plan is currently only available in the following countries:

  • Australia
  • France
  • Hong Kong
  • India (available to a limited number of users)
  • Taiwan

How the Two-person plan works:

YouTube Two-person plans allow you to share membership benefits with one other member who lives in the same household.

  • The Family manager:
    • Is the primary account holder
    • Pays for the membership
    • Creates a Google Family group and manages adding and removing members
  • Shared member:
    • Use their own Google account to access a shared membership
    • Has their own personal library, subscriptions, and recommendations–we won’t share viewing preferences or watch history across family member accounts
    • Age restrictions apply for family members <18
