By default, Pocket Casts supports skipping through episodes, back 10 seconds and forward 30/45 seconds (depending on the platform).

You can skip through episodes from the following locations:
Tap the mini player to open the full screen player.
Pro Tip: Long press on the skip forward button on full screen player gives you an option to mark that episode played or move to the next episode in the queue.
Press the power button on your device to display the lock screen.
Note: On iOS, If you are missing a skip back option in lock screen, you might have Extra Playback Actions enabled in Profile > Settings > General.
Swipe down from the top of your screen to show notifications.
Long press on your home screen to add the widget.
Note: On iOS, if you’ve configured the Next Action or Previous Action in Profile > Settings > Headphone Controls to “Next Chapter” or “Previous Chapter” the corresponding button will skip chapters instead of your configured skip forward or back time when listening to a podcast episode that includes chapters.
