NEW FIGHT WEEK REWARDS

New Fight Week Rewards include a Fight Skin for one of the greatest chins in MMA history, who was involved in one of the greatest fights in MMA history: Dan Henderson from UFC 139.
FIGHTER SKINS | GREATEST CHINS

It’s almost impossible to put these guys away! 3 new Fighter Skins with the “Greatest Chins’ go live today in the in-game FIGHT STORE.
- Nate Diaz (UFC Fight Night 13) - Going into UFC Fight Night 13, Diaz was one of the promotion’s most exciting lightweight prospects. He showcased his slick jiu-jitsu, granite chin, and swagger that would later define his career, securing a second-round triangle choke and punctuating the finish with the now-iconic celebration.
- Dan Henderson (UFC 139) - Hendo went into UFC 139 as one of the most battle-tested legends in MMA. Facing “Shogun” Rua, he delivered a five-round classic in which his jaw, power, and relentless fighting spirit were all tested in one of the most memorable wars in UFC history.
- Nick Diaz (Strikeforce | 2011) - Great chins must run in the family. Nate’s older brother, Nick, brought his trademark pressure and fearless style into Strikeforce in 2011. Trading heavy shots with his opponent, Diaz weathered the storm, kept pushing forward, and ultimately secured a second-round armbar to retain the Strikeforce Welterweight Championship.

NEW ROSTERED FIGHTERS UPDATE
Valter Walker

Pro MMA Record: 16-1-0 | 9 First Round Finishes
Division / UFC Ranking: Heavyweight, #11
Bio: Watch your legs and feet around “The Clean Monster”. A rising force in the UFC heavyweight division, bringing imposing size, relentless pressure, and a dangerous grappling game to the Octagon. This Brazilian heavyweight looks to overwhelm opponents with Powerful takedowns and a submission game that has given him five finishes in a row, four by heelhook.
UFC 6 Keys to Victory:
PRESSURE FORWARD – Close the distance, force grappling exchanges, and keep opponents on the back foot.
CONTROL ON THE GROUND – Get takedowns and use pressure on top to drain stamina and dictate the pace.
HUNT THE FINISH – Capitalize on grappling advantages and look for submission opportunities once the fight hits the ground.
Aaron Pico

Pro MMA Record: 14-5-0 | 7 First Round Finishes
Division / UFC Ranking: Featherweight, #11
Bio: An explosive featherweight known for his elite wrestling, heavy hands, and relentless pressure. With a decorated wrestling background and fight-ending power, Pico blends high-level grappling with aggressive striking, making him a complete mixed martial artist and dangerous wherever the fight goes.
UFC 6 Keys to Victory:
PUSH THE PACE – Stay aggressive, pressure forward, and create finishing opportunities with speed and power.
MIX UP THE ATTACK – Blend explosive boxing combinations with level changes to keep opponents guessing.
WRESTLE WITH PURPOSE – Use powerful takedowns, top control, and ground strikes to dictate where the fight takes place.
INCLUDED WITH THE UFC 6 FIGHTER PASS
Yoel Romero (UFC 221 - 2018)

Pro MMA Record: 13-5-0
Bio: What makes “The Soldier of God” stand out is the combination of elite wrestling pedigree, freakish explosiveness, and a fighting style that doesn’t seem dangerous until it’s too late. An Olympic silver medalist with devastating knockout power, Romero tends to spend long stretches reading an opponent and ‘reloading’ his energy before exploding with a fight-changing strike.
At UFC 221, that unpredictability was on full display. He stayed patient against Luke Rockhold, then closed the show with a brutal third-round knockout. Romero’s mix of world-class wrestling, inhuman athleticism, and sudden explosiveness made him one of the most unique and intimidating middleweights of that era.
UFC 6 Keys to Victory:
EXPLODE INTO RANGE – Stay patient, then burst forward with powerful combinations when an opening appears.
THREATEN THE TAKEDOWN – Use Yoel’s elite wrestling to keep opponents guessing and create opportunities on the feet.
MAKE EVERY SHOT COUNT – Conserve stamina, pick your moments, and pounce with fight-changing power strikes.
GAMEPLAY UPDATES
GROUND GAME RESPONSIVENESS

- Takedowns: Fighters can now move immediately upon hitting the ground for all takedowns, ensuring consistent responsiveness across all ground entries.
- Transition Starts: Fighters can branch from transition starts earlier to speed up fakes and exchanges, actively encouraging more dynamic grappling exchanges.
- Transition Successes: Fighters can act immediately after completing a transition, eliminating awkward pauses as they reach new positions.
- Denials: Recovery after denials and reversals is now faster, ensuring successful defense translates into counter-grappling opportunities instantly.
Developer comment: We've improved responsiveness across the Ground Game by allowing fighters to act sooner in the moment-to-moment grappling. Our previous patch brought this improvement to the most common takedowns. This patch brings it to all remaining takedowns and extends the benefit to the ground game as a whole. The improved Transition Start animations change gameplay the most, as they encourage more fakes and proactive tactics and make grappling exchanges feel much more dynamic. Our goal with these changes is to inject speed and fluidity into the grappling system. By reducing recovery times across takedowns, transitions, and denials, we eliminate awkward pauses, promote activity, and keep the fight's momentum flowing.

- Fixing instances of denied or missed Takedowns that don’t cost stamina.
- Fixing Ground and Pound issues that allow the defender to block too soon after attempting to sway (Bobble Head). We have been making progress on this very complex fix, but it is still going through iterations and testing.
- We are investigating occasional “Hanging Transitions,” in which fighters sometimes take an unusually long time to complete a transition or initiate a denial animation.
- We are investigating an issue where body attacks cannot be blocked when getting up from Active Knockdowns.
