Kinda chic to care where you work... If your idea of a serviced office is a few desks and a kettle, that's not it anymore. WeWork and NewFlex are two we've been in recently…nice buildings to show clients and practical enough to actually use. Everything's already set up, so there's nothing to build and worry about. If you're growing, you just take a bit more space when you need it, rather than guessing now what you'll want in five years. Looking for space? Talk to the Devono team today. #CommercialRealEstate #Londonmarket #Officespace #CoworkingSpace #ServicedOffices

More than twenty years of looking at offices and a good one still gets us. ‘Sports Day’…our Devono monthly out of office (technically 🫣) This month we spent it at The Work Project's first London building… a beautiful space where the day was spent working, and admiring the view. Something happens when the whole room is sat together somewhere new. One person gets a yes, word travels, and everyone's locked in. We're quite proud of how competitive it gets, and we're not going to stop. A huge thank you to Mitchell and Freddie for setting it up, and to the team at The Work Project for having us. Take a look at the day ↓ #commercialrealestate #Londonmarket #OOO #Culture

How do YOU get people into the office? That's the first thing AI companies ask us. Not how big the space is, or how much it costs. They want quiet rooms, gyms and catering, so coming in feels worth it. It's changing what buildings and areas they choose from. Featuring moves from Databricks, Encord, Neko Health, Quantexa and Scale AI. Our AI sector report has all the details, we have broken down where they’re going and what they’re paying. Link in the comments. Want more insights like this or about your own sector? Our team at Devono is happy to help! What's the first thing an occupier asks about your building? It isn't the floor space... The second edition of As We Hear It is live! Every month, we share what we're actually hearing across the office market. This one asks what businesses are really judging a building on... and why the answer has almost nothing to do with the floor. Written by Charles Chell, on what's coming up in almost every conversation we're having. It's the terraces, the showers, the wellness space, and the cycle storage. What used to be nice extras now decides the shortlist. It's all part of As We Hear It, the monthly newsletter from Devono ... over twenty years advising businesses on their offices, and tenants only. Have a read below, then let us know what you're hearing! If you're deciding what to invest in next, our office and design teams are the ones to talk to.

Companies are struggling to make the commute worthwhile for staff who can handle solo tasks just as easily from home. Traditional desk-heavy layouts and outdated Grade B spaces no longer offer the value modern teams require. Robert Leigh, Founder of Devono helps businesses navigate this shifting real estate market, securing and designing Grade A environments built around activity-based working and meaningful collaboration. On Robert's episode of the Founder Podcast, we discussed: * The sharp divide between Grade A and Grade B real estate demand as companies redefine the office's purpose. * How modern office layouts are shifting from 80% dedicated desking to an even split between deep-work areas, private spaces, and collaborative hubs. * The transition to activity-based working that drives the unmeasurable, spontaneous interactions driving business growth. The only irreplaceable marketing asset is your real life experience. We build podcasts for B2B companies trying to build authority & thought leadership, while building pipeline at the same time, through strategic guesting.

Two chickens went missing in Farringdon last week. We found them. 🐔 Où est le poulet? Last week, we swapped office tours for a tour of Farringdon, starting with a town hall at the Devono office alongside the teams from Dthree Studio and Made Real Estate, before heading out across EC1 in search of Mark and Stephanie (the chickens) Some teams took the clues seriously and some took the pub stops seriously, but everyone ended up far more competitive than any of us are willing to admit. It's a strange thing to watch grown professionals sprint across Clerkenwell for chickens, and an even stranger thing to enjoy it as much as we did. We've had a lot of team days, and this one will be getting brought up for years… helped along by the fact that there's footage! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special shoutout to Tim and Federica for bringing it all together. Here's a look at the highlights ↓

⛳ Devono Flex Golf Day 2026 Last year it rained. This year, it hit the hottest June on record, our event planning is nothing if not consistent. 24 of us made it round Westerham Golf Club with the providers and partners we work with all year, for some great laughs, and questionable golf. It's quietly become our favourite day of the year, no pitches, no viewings, and a leaderboard nobody will let each other forget. We're usually helping people find their next office. For one day, we just helped everyone find the first tee and then the bar afterwards. Congratulations to the winners 👏 : 🏆 Individual Winner - Mark Franklin, Orega 🏆 Longest Drive, Front 9 - Mark Franklin, Orega 🏆 Longest Drive, Back 9 - Dominic Woods, Fora 🏆 Closest to the Pin, Front 9 - James Allen, WeWork 🏆 Closest to the Pin, Back 9 - James Allen, WeWork 🏅Team Winners - Group 6: - Roy Jones (OSiT® | Office Space in Town), - Mark Franklin (Orega) - Ross Carter (The Ministry) - Bryce Maree (Boutique Workplace Co) Thank you to everyone who came along. Also, a big thank you to Mitchell Spencer for organising another brilliant day. Same fairways, same faces, next summer 🏌️
