📢 We’re hiring a Facilities Manager Naylors are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our growing Asset & Property Management team in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing facilities across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring buildings are safe, compliant, well-maintained and operating efficiently. We’re looking for someone with experience in facilities or property management, ideally within a commercial property environment, with a strong understanding of M&E, building fabric, lifts, drainage, roofing, compliance and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Managing property inspections, maintenance and compliance - Overseeing contractors and planned preventative maintenance - Coordinating reactive maintenance and tenant requirements - Supporting projects, improvement works and service charge budgets - Advising clients and colleagues on maintenance and lifecycle requirements - Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors and suppliers We’re looking for a proactive, organised and solution-focused individual who is confident managing multiple priorities and enjoys working collaboratively with clients, colleagues and contractors. Strip-out works are now complete at the magnificent old Lloyds Bank property at 102 Grey Street. This marks the end of the first phase in the transformation of one of Newcastle's most iconic buildings.   We're now moving into the enabling works for the upper floors, while the restaurant operator takes occupation beginning their fitout of the lower floors.   It's fantastic to see real progress on this landmark Grade II listed building, which is being repurposed to give it a new lease of life while preserving the character that has made it such a recognisable part of Grey Street since 1839.   Our building consultancy team is proud to be providing project management and contract administration services on behalf of the client and we're looking forward to sharing more updates as the redevelopment continues.   #Newcastle #Heritage #Regeneration #ProjectManagement #CommercialProperty Scott Clarke Luke Overton #BuildingConsultancy
