On Ubuntu Server 24.04.3, the "o" key on my keyboard doesn't work properly in the GRUB command line.

Grub Version: 2.12

I've tried several different keyboard, but none of them work. But when linux start totally, it works fine.

Thanks.

What keyboard layout do you have? Wondering if the issue is that Grub isn't using a matching keyboard layout. Commented Nov 9 at 8:05

What does "doesn't work properly" mean? Does it insert something other than o, or act like some other key, or insert multiple characters, or is it just non-functional (nothing happens)? Commented Nov 9 at 8:29
  • "doesn't work properly" means nothing input there, but other keys work fine. Commented Nov 15 at 14:50
  • For keyboard layout, in china, we use US as default. Commented Nov 15 at 14:53
  • Sure, but there are many "US" layouts (the one you're thinking of is actually "US (intl. ...)" for most PCs). You should select the proper variant that mentions "macintosh"... Commented Nov 15 at 15:45
