Managing director
After closing the deal to sell ICM Partners to CAA in June 2022, Silbermann helped integrate 425 ICM agents and executives into his former rival as a newly minted member of CAA’s senior leadership team and shareholder board. In April 2024, Silbermann was formally named one of CAA’s nine managing directors alongside agency stalwarts Rob Light, Howard Nuchow, Joe Cohen, Michael Levine, Joel Lubin, Maha Dakhil, Tiffany Ward and Paul Danforth. After decades in the biz, Silbermann was also invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in 2024 under the Talent Representation branch. On the business side, he guided client Caryn Mandabach, producer of “Peaky Blinders” and other distinctive shows, through the sale of her production banner to French production giant Banijay. He serves on the AFI board of trustees, and he is chair and director of the board of the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
