Samsung Claims Another World�s First |

Here's another first for Samsung with the succession of building a 60nm 2GB DDR2 DRAM chip.
According to Chosun, the new chip can process the equivalent of seven or eight months' worth of newspaper text per second. The company said the next-generation product is set to become a category leader next year.
Samsung plans to begin mass producing the chips soon. By mass producing using the 60-nm process, Samsung should continue to have the upper hand over rival semiconductor makers in future.

Samsung was so delighted with the SGH-i600, the company decided to release a successor --- the SGH-i620 at IFA 2007.
SGH-i620 sports Windows Mobile 6.0 and a QWERTY keyboard, all dressed up in black. This slider phone features a 2-inch 65k colors TFT Display screen, jog dial control pad, 2 megapixel camera, HSDPA data connection and push email service.
This isn't the right phone for you if you need or want built-in WiFi, which is commonly found in new smartphone. However, with HSDPA support --- would you still need WiFi?

How lovely, it looks like the Samsung U470 MP3 phone is heading to Verizon Wireless. The Samsung U470 has been spotted on PhoneArena. This phone running on Verizon is obviously a CDMA version of the Samsung SGH-F210 for GSM network.
