Yahoo! Mail Web Services

With the Yahoo! Mail Web Service APIs, you can build applications to perform tasks such as listing messages, displaying folders, and composing and sending messages.

Provided below is an overview of the Yahoo! Mail Web Service and the resources available to you as a Yahoo! Mail Web Service developer.

Please note that the APIs available in the Yahoo! Mail Web Service provide varying levels of functionality for free and premium Yahoo! Mail accounts. See the Yahoo! Mail account types page or the Yahoo! Mail Web Service documentation for details.

Code Samples

If you're like us, you probably want to skip the instructions and get right to the working examples. Please just promise us you'll come back later and read the documentation.

Commission

Yahoo! Mail offers an incentive for developers to build applications using the full functionality available for premium Yahoo! Mail accounts. Specifically, Yahoo! Mail provides a commission of $10.00 for every new Yahoo! Mail Plus account referred by developers.

Yahoo! Mail has teamed up with Commission Junction to provide you with trusted third-party tracking, real-time reporting and monthly commission checks. If you're ready to sign up, register for the commission at cj.com.

If you have any questions about the commission, please contact our partner, Commission Junction, at this email address: yahooaffiliate@cj.com.
