by Doug McIlroy was given at Murray Hill during the summer of 1997
concerning the history of computing at the Bell Telephone Laboratories.
It runs just over an hour and is only audio; no slides were used in the talk.
Doug retired from Bell Labs after an illustrious career and
is teaching at Dartmouth. He has a home page at
