There are still some dated MIDI editing tools, and MainStage’s lack of integration with Logic or ReWire restricts its use to some users. But ultimately, having more isn’t nearly as important as being more playable, and that’s what Logic 8 does most successfully. November 09, 2007

Featured project

As users submit their works in the Creative Space forum, we'll pull out the best and brightest to showcase here.

Project summary: My friend’s band has been working with the star seen in different media. Through a series of approximately 10 layers or so, the first image was created in Photoshop. I scanned the star and rebuilt it to create a globe-like effect. I took this one step further in Illustrator and created a vector-file.
Comments: I liked the simplicity of the lines. The star is punched out of the middle.
