Short: Ribbon implemented in Windows “7” Paint
Stephen posted an interesting shot of the new Ribbon implemented in a newer Microsoft Paint build. I sincerely hope this is a sign that Sinofsky the Windows “7” team has already fixed other more pressing issues like the infamous folder “type sniffing” errors and the irritating non-existent file deletion dialog…

You mean they may actually make the entire OS look and feel as if it were one and not some mash up of Windows95 and up?
Oh great - so we’re going to see cluttering of the title bar too now? The Ribbon interface was meant to be a move away from this type of cluttering that proliferated in so many Windows applications (especially Microsoft’s own products). But now the title bar is a toolbar too? What was wrong with using the title bar as, you know, a title bar?
