jsoncpp is an implementation of a JSON (http://json.org) reader and writer in C++. JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight data-interchange format. It is easy for humans to read and write. It is easy for machines to parse and generate.
Simple and operational even on older compilers (like gcc for Symbian)
This looks great, I may swap my serializer in highrisedev to JSON. I only need to create an extension class and it's in!
Works nice, but it would be very appropriate to have an option/version that does not throw exceptions but instead handles errors in another way since different projects have a policy not to use exceptions. Mixing exceptions in a project that uses no exceptions (e.g. g++ f-noexceptions) in e.g. a library makes unpredictable code. I noticed it is only at some few places where exceptions are thrown so maybe it is not a very difficult task.
