range of activities in Phuket continues to grow. Any time of year, rain or shine,
you will find adventure activities, playgrounds and action tours. Here's few suggestions...
Ages
4 - 8

Elephant rides - always fun and part of most Phuket eco-tours.
- Visit
the newly refurbished Aquarium at Cape Panwa.
Indoor playgrounds with kiddie rides. Located at major hypermarkets on the edge of Phuket town. Big
C Supecentre and Tesco/Lotus upstairs next to the food court.
Ages
8 - 12
- Go on a Sea-canoe tour and explore the caves and hongs in Phang Nga Bay
- The whole family
can enjoy a private
snorkeling trip by speedboat.
- Explore the island with a mountain
bike tour
- Play Mini golf at Dino Park (mini golf with
a dinosaur theme - good for the evening) in Kata/Karon.
- Take a 4
in 1 Safari - for sample of Phuket. Elephant trek, buffalo cart, sea canoe
and jungle trek for the family.
- Paintball at The Phuket Shooting
Range in Chalong.
- The Snake Show at the Phuket Shooting Range in Chalong.
- Horse
riding at the Phuket Riding Club in Chalong or Phuket Laguna Riding Club in
the north of Phuket.
- Visit the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project at
Khao Phrae Thaew National Forest.
- Visit the newly refurbished Aquarium
at Cape Panwa.
- Cable water ski-ing and Wakeboarding at Kathu Water-ski Park.
- Phuket
FantaSea cultural theme show at Kamala Beach.
Ages 12 - 16
- Hiking or trekking with a variety of eco-tour companies.
- Ten-pin bowling at Ocean Shopping Plaza, or Big C Supercentre
in Phuket Town, or Ocean Bowl Patong.
- Ride an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) through the jungle. Great fun!
- Go mountain
biking around the island.

- Take a Scuba
diving course. Minimum age 12+.

but kids must be accompanied by an older family member.
- Go-Kart Speedway in Patong.
- Phuket
FantaSea cultural theme show at Kamala Beach.
- Go Whitewater
rafting down jungle rivers.
- Stay overnight
in Khao Sok National Park. A wonderful experience.
- Video arcades at Ocean Shopping Plaza or the top floor of Big C Superstore, located west of
Phuket Town towards Patong.
