COMPOSITIO MATHEMATICA

FOUNDATION COMPOSITIO MATHEMATICA
This is the home page of the journal COMPOSITIO MATHEMATICA.
This journal is owned by the FOUNDATION COMPOSITIO MATHEMATICA.
It is the purpose of the foundation to publish first-class mathematical
research papers. By tradition, the journal published by the foundation
focuses on papers in the main stream of pure mathematics. This includes the fields of algebra, number theory, topology, algebraic and analytic geometry
and (geometric) analysis. Papers on other topics are welcome if they are of interest not only to specialists. All contributions are required to meet
high standards of quality and originality and are carefully screened
by experts in the field.
Since January 2004
the journal is published in
cooperation with the
London Mathematical Society.
The subscription price has been lowered significantly since then.
For subscription and prices contact
journals@cambridge.org. At
journals.cambridge.org/jid_COM
you can access the list of contents and abstracts freely. Subscribers
can access with their password the full text at
journals.cambridge.org/action/registration
Authors of accepted papers have the option (by paying a charge) to have their article published under 'Open Access'. For more information, click here.
As of June 2006 the back volumes of Compositio Mathematica older than
6 years will become freely available. For the volumes up to year 1996
you can find these at the
NUMDAM site.
The volumes of the years between 1996 and 2000 are accessible
on the CUP website.

How to submit a paper?
There are two ways:
- 1) submit
electronically via webloading at our site.
Only pdf or ps files are acceptable.
(Please report technical problems to compositio at math. leidenuniv.nl .)
or
- 2) send an e-mail to one of the managing editors or to
compositio@math.leidenuniv.nl with a web address (e.g. a math-arXive address )
where we can find a ps file or pdf file of your paper. Sending a (La)TeX
version by mail is also possible, but is less preferable as it may lead to
(teXnical) problems; please add the address of the corresponding author.
If you want some explanation of our copyrights policy, click

If your article is published, you will ultimately receive a web link with
