Wolfram Education Group Now Offers Convenient, Online
Mathematica Training
February 2, 2004--Wolfram Education Group is now providing
Mathematica
training courses online. In addition to center-based and on-site courses,
customers can now take a training class from the comfort of their own home
or office. This is an attractive alternative for customers who wish to
learn on their own familiar computer system as well as for those who have financial
constraints.
Online training courses are identical in content to Wolfram Education Group's
center-based courses and are taught by the
same Wolfram Education Group certified instructors. Upon registering for an
online class, students are directed to
courseware downloads and given instructions on how to join the class.
Instructions include the class teleconference phone number and WebEx setup directions.
"We are excited to have the online classes up and running," says Paul
Wellin, director of Wolfram Education Group. "While we are able to offer
center-based training in many central locales throughout the United States
and abroad, the additional time and cost involved for some customers to
travel to those cities makes it infeasible. With our online classes, you
can conduct your regular work in the morning and attend your Mathematica
training course in the afternoon, all from the same location."
Both M101: A First Course
in Mathematica and
M110: Working with
Data Using
Mathematica can now be taken online through May 2004. Additional
classes will be added to the schedule soon.
