Arjen Poutsma is a Staff Engineer at SpringSource, being the founder and the project lead for the Spring Web Services. - "Why not" - this is not really convincing. Furthermore I appeal to all developers - ask yourself "why" you would use this or that - think hard. You should be able to argue that your decision was based on reason.
- "Spring is proven technology" - maybe, but the combination of both Spring and Scala is not and probably it is pointless to use them in combination, at least for me.
In fact I do not even know why I would use Spring in Java...
