Updated review: After taking the initial trial to test out Smush It Pro and having a few issues with compatibility I uninstalled the plugin. However I missed th...e cut off date for cancelling the trial and my credit card was charged the monthly fee. As I had signed up to try just the ONE plugin I was not happy. However, the customer service team reached out immediately and rectified the situation including updating their customer service policy on their website and issuing a refund. I am happy to say that despite my initial concerns, it seems these guys really do put as much effort into their customer service as they do in all their other marketing efforts. See More

I've been a WordPress user for almost ten years and a Pro Member of WPMU Dev since 2012 and just renewed for another year.
Sure they have plugins and themes bu...t for me it is the support & training they offer that is worth way more than the annual cost.
Yes you can Google your issues or spend countless hours watching outdated YouTube videos but ask yourself - How Much Is Your Time Worth?
For me.., I have expenses and investments

It does not work with plug-ins at all. Not even online help. There is an effort to be disgusting. My reward should have been possible. I do not recommend it! I ...am very angry and I will never use it again. It was cut from my $ 49 bill. What is not nice is that no money has been taken from the service at all such that everyone can become rich. But to deceive people is a huge crime. See More

First off, I love their products. I was a subscription customer for a couple years. However, paying a subscription monthly for former clients wasn't working for... me so I cancelled my subscription. I would prefer to have purchased each plugin individually.
During the cancellation process I was told the price had been CUT IN HALF A YEAR AGO. They asked if I would be willing to stick around for the lower price. What I wanted to know was: why I was paying DOUBLE what new customers were paying... for A YEAR!?
When you're loyal to a company for years you would think they would take care of you in return and not charge you twice as much as everyone else. That's $600 I was overcharged.
They tried to make it "right" by offering a free year, but at that point I had already removed the plugins from my clients websites and found alternate solutions. Very disappointing. See More

WPMU Dev has been so comforting for me to just have around even. Starting out a business owner can be daunting for so many reasons. Not the least of which can... be those magical unforeseen technical issues. A person can be considered a WordPress "Expert" and still get stumped! =) But with WPMU Dev's excellent training and support, with such friendly guru's on staff... It definitely takes some of edge off.
To this day, any time I get stumped by anything, I go to WPMU Dev for help, and I always both; A: Learn Something. and B: My problem gets fixed.
Not to mention the awesome, and extensive, list of plugins they have. All coming with easy to access support, right from within WordPress.
A WPMU Dev plugin giving you trouble? Create a support ticket about it from within your wordpress dashboard, and within 30 minutes... You have an answer. Almost always.
No need to copy paste login details or system details if needed either.
Did I mention they are all super friendly? =)

You guys are deceptive with your recurring charges, even though no website was ever configured for our account and it wasn't clear this was a recurring subscrip...tion. I'm going to report you to the FTC and the Better Business Bureau, hopefully people will see this and find honest companies to do business with. See More

WPMU DEV are the discovery of the year for me! They've even solved a problem for me that they didn't have a plugin for, way above and beyond the call of duty! Only just joined but they are now part of my long term planning...

I've been using Wordpress for 10 years. Just don't bother with WPMUDEV, plugins do not work. I've had to uninstall ALL of them, this company employs 70 people whilst Facebook employs 1 per million and WPMUDEV has just over half a million "Happy Members" so the math is pretty embarrassing.

If WPMU DEV put half as much energy into product development as they do into marketing, it might be worth the high subscription price.
The fact is that most o...f the plugins are basic, lacking in features, and they almost always require styling to fit into the theme you are using.

Awesome plugins, support and great WP education that really makes a lot of their plugins and whatnot worthwhile. At times, even experienced WP folks can feel li...ke a newbie, but WPMU Dev is there to help guide you along the way. Their customer support is tremendous as well. We recently had a billing issue and it was resolved literally within hours. Very impressive. We plan on being with WPMU Dev for life! See More

I really would like recommend to give a try WPMU DEV people! They've got great plugins, thats for sure. But there is something more, that others teams just prom...ise, not execute in real. 100% online working help. I had a problem with my $199 yearly subscription, for some reason (I probably let my card details go out of date) the automatic payment did not go through prope...rly, so I lost my discounted subscription!!!
After panicking for a few minutes, I contacted WPMU DEV support and Christy and Mike were as fast as lightning helping me out restoring my discounted subscription.
