OSF-SA publication
OSF-SA in conjunction with Wits and the Centre for Sustainability in Mining and Industry has launched a new publication: Preliminary study on artisanal and small-scale mining in South Africa. This research study provides a first look at the landscape of the artisanal and small-scale mining sector in South Africa, its challenges and opportunities to contribute to socioeconomic development.

The course was a unique opportunity to take stock of collective knowledge on legal empowerment and to build upon it. Its overarching objective is to cultivate a cadre of leaders who are committed to legal empowerment and share a common understanding of the field.
