  17. Once I did this, I saw the red battery indicator appear briefly on screen, which signaled to me that maybe something had changed. I let it sit for a minute or two, then plugged it in. It charged like normal instead of instantly returning to the bootloop. Success!

  18. This is an old trick I learned in my days of repairing laptops. Never thought it would come in handy for phones too, but I guess they're not that different if you think about it.

  19. In case it ever helps anyone, here's what fixed my Pixel 3's bootloop issues. - Let the battery fully die (maybe put it in a Ziploc in the fridge, to manage heat). - Press and hold the power button for a full minute. - Mash the power button a bunch of times.

  21. He's dead, Jim. Battery finally died. I plugged it in; it booted up, and went back to bootlooping. An hour in a Google Support chat later and my only recourse is to try uBreakiFix.
