    Worst part is I'd actually believe this.

    Okay, here's the truth. Motion Sense actually isn't tech. It's the force. Through our gathering of data, we predicted that force sensitive people would be the only ones purchasing the Pixel 4. There you have it, you are the feature. May the Motion Sense be with you.

    Once I did this, I saw the red battery indicator appear briefly on screen, which signaled to me that maybe something had changed. I let it sit for a minute or two, then plugged it in. It charged like normal instead of instantly returning to the bootloop. Success!

    This is an old trick I learned in my days of repairing laptops. Never thought it would come in handy for phones too, but I guess they're not that different if you think about it.

    In case it ever helps anyone, here's what fixed my Pixel 3's bootloop issues. - Let the battery fully die (maybe put it in a Ziploc in the fridge, to manage heat). - Press and hold the power button for a full minute. - Mash the power button a bunch of times.

    He's dead, Jim. Battery finally died. I plugged it in; it booted up, and went back to bootlooping. An hour in a Google Support chat later and my only recourse is to try uBreakiFix.
