    Here's my unofficial plot of NWS Tornado Warnings covering a WFO's location. I don't have the greatest of confidence that my WFO location data is accurate, but this should be close. NWS Huntsville, AL has the highest total plotted at 46 warnings.

    Being a long-in-the-tooth meteorologist, I know what's going on when I see the current RADAR presentation, but I wonder what the general public thinks when they wake up and see this. They just mentally discard it since they know the sky is currently visually clear?

    Precip today has conveniently, so far, avoided the just introduced D1 drought over west central Iowa. Map shows combination of MRMS precip up till noon today and the latest US Drought Monitor update. Good rains though for parts of NW Iowa that needed it.

    "Watch Buddies" was liked, so trying "Warning Buddies". First plot is % of FFC's SVR days that are shared with another office. Second plot is % of other office's days shared with FFC. Neighbor offices are interesting, but wanted to see synoptic scale patterns too. Ideas welcome!

    Interesting relationship, no shared watch events between + What could be happening? being exclusive with whom their watch buddy is? The north+south Iowa borders good places to stop watches? can explain?
