    DO NOT USE CORTICOSTEROIDS IF THE OXYGEN LEVELS ARE NORMAL! We have seen too many patients deteriorate when they have been started on steroids too early. Please ask your doctor why steroids are being started if the oxygen levels haven’t dropped.

    Experts say Delhi urgently needs to add more ICU beds or make arrangements to fly doctors and equipment from less affected states. Make a centralised system for oxygen distribution, so families know where they can get cylinders refilled. Use help from international allies

    One of the patients was my cousin Akhil - who waited for 18 hours to get a ventilator. Was there no ventilator or they couldn’t intubate because oxygen pressure was less? I guess we may never know.

    And then there are unanswered questions about the 25 people who died in one night in a top hospital. Did they die because of oxygen shortage? Hospital has given conflicting accounts.

    Shortage of oxygen supply continues in Delhi hospitals. Hospitals are sending SOS tweets. It’s horrible - imagine the condition of the families who have patients in these hospitals.

    [Another read] Again woke up to disturbing calls - two patients are in the emergency of a hospital on oxygen support. And families are being told to take patients away and find ICU beds. There are no ICU beds in Delhi. Several others are in similar situation. They are helpless.

    He has been at Gangaram for 4 days. Doc advised ventilator in the morning but they don’t have any. Any leads on procuring a ventilator from outside?

    SOS - please help my colleague and friend find a bed with ventilator for his cousin in Gagaram. His oxygen levels have dropped to 45. He has been waiting since 10am. He is just 39. DM Vikas if you can help 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. Please retweet and share

    Thank you, for giving us a voice. Most of us are fatigued, irritable, anxious and truly find it difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope, for all our sakes that things turn around, somehow.
