Okay I know the comp has finished, but it’s still fun making these animations, so I added some colour to this black and white Finnish booming pic, to make the Fireworks effect really stand out, as they exploded in the night sky!

Happy   Hope you’re all enjoying your ghostly adventures on this spooky day and feel high spirited enough to make your own animation on the final day of the annual competition!

Having too much fun making these animations, this one inspired naturally by James Bond aka Daniel Craig’s classic Saturday Night Live meme weekend introduction appearance lol

Who else has got that rockstar creative for the weekend ahead, getting ready to get inspired and make a brilliant, fun, or innovative animated gif, using pics and more!

These dancing skeletons work equally well with added Halloween spooky music as well!

Suits you Sir! An apple a day keeps the Doctor away, but maybe not if you merge an abstract Magritte found on with some old moon video effects from the turn of the 20th century on to make another fun animated gif as part of

Seems was very different back in the day, as animated skeleton dancers took to the floor and made their moves for I just had to bring them alive, if only briefly, especially when they’d normally have nobody to dance with!

For those interested records a time lapse of your painting strokes & you can export a recording of it too. This means you can see how my skeleton tightrope animated gif was put together. Basically I separated out all the skeletons, used animation assist & the clone tool

I’ve now entered this sporting show of skeletal frivolity as my last comp entry, but I love making them, so I’ll probably create more for fun anyway, as I’ve already made quite a few animated gif shorts!

Never underestimate the sporting nature of skeletons, especially when they’re faced with a tightrope walking challenge. And in the spirit of true friendship, there’s a spirit of team camaraderie in my latest animated gif for as they all muck in to help!

Rocking the animated gifs to make them even more dramatic, with a bit of AC/DC thrown into the mix for but will the audience enjoy my quirky animations as much as the Twitter one!

Experimenting with vivid colours & exercising some sci-fi visual ideas for another using some cool retro looking pics & obligatory dancing skeleton performer of course, as Halloween beckons! Just doing them for fun rather than the comp!

When researching pics to use for animated gifs you do chance upon old materials showing disturbing practises which went on, such as strange human experiments & e.g. animal cruelty in Circuses. Case in point is this dancing horse gif I extracted & made from a video!

Let’s hope this doesn’t happen with the New Shepard & Captain Kirk aka has a safe return landing, but then again he’s always been Enterprising! Think I preempted annual comp as I animated this pic you can find there before!

Loving the fact you can save your fave images you may want to use later, perhaps to create animated gifs for It means you can experiment with ideas & have a mischievous devil pranking Faustus with some good old conjuring morphing & transformation spells!

Quite enjoyed putting all the pieces together to make this moving synchro horse gymnastics styled animation while was on, so think I’ll make my final animated gif a sport themed one!

Recently I caught some tv footage of robot themed women's synchronised swimming & coincidentally found a pic of five dancing gymnastic women at the feast of Sirangham who form themselves into the shape of a horse. This just had to be animated!

This year I’ve been using to create my animated gifs. So I thought I’d show you a sped up timelapse vid of my creative process, which quickly shows how I manipulate a selection of pics to make a fun scene, which then becomes a little animation
