RESOURCES AT TOMPKINS COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Free NARCAN® vending machine
TCPL, in partnership with REACH Medical, offers free no-questions asked NARCAN® in a vending machine near the main entrance to the library. All you have to do is key in the number for a stocked shelf, and a free 2-pack of the opioid overdose reversal medication will be dispensed.
Monthly Opioid Overdose & NARCAN® Response Training with REACH Medical
Every 1st Wednesday 4:00 - 5:00 pm (Beginning February 2026)

Learn the signs of an opioid overdose and how to respond, and get a chance to ask questions to medical and addiction professionals. Those in attendance will receive a rescue kit that includes two doses of NARCAN® along with a one-way rescue breather and drug test strips.
No registration is necessary.
