  • Hi @cagrics,

I can see that you are having issues connecting Jetpack to your website, and getting the “An error occurred. Please try again.” error.

Looking closely, I found that your website’s XML-RPC timeouts our requests, that’s what causing the break there.

I’d suggest reaching out to your hosting provider, and having them ensure the XML-RPC endpoint responds correctly to our request, by whitelisting our IP ranges:

Let us know how this goes.

Hi @muffinpeace, we’ll contact our hosting provider and get back to you.

What’s interesting is that we were able to activate Jetpack on our other websites in the same hosting company.

    Hi @cagrics,

One thing I noticed too, is that is someone tries to access the non-https version of the site, (http://citizenshipper.com/blog) they are unsuccessfully redirected to https://blog.citizenshipper.com/.

This could be causing issues with Jetpack as well.

    Hi @cagrics,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
