Thirty-eight of the AU’s 55 Member States Are Now Aligned with African Medicines Agency Treaty
Among the 55 African Union countries, a total of 39 countries have now signed and/or ratified the AMA Treaty. Some 29 countries have now ratified the treaty, with Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Cape Verde amongst the latest.
The AMA will generate snow-balling benefits for the continent as more AU member states join.
