Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co, Ltd announces a landmark tripartite collaboration with The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG), a leading integrated cement and building materials company in Asean, and Anhui Conch Information Technology Engineering Co, Ltd (Conch), a specialist in Advanced Process Control (APC) systems and AI-driven industrial optimisation, to jointly develop and deploy an integrated APC and Artificial Intelligence solution underpinned by modern ICT infrastructure, tailored to SCG's cement manufacturing operations.
Combining three forces to drive industrial AI in cement manufacturing
The collaboration brings together the distinct strengths of each party. SCG contributes deep cement manufacturing expertise and its proprietary CiMie AI Foundation Model, Conch, brings proven APC technology and process optimisation algorithms tailored for the cement industry, while Huawei provides comprehensive ICT infrastructure spanning Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, AI Platforms, Cybersecurity and F5G/IPv6 industrial networking to enable a full-scale digital transformation for SCG.
Under this agreement, the three parties will jointly design and implement customised APC systems for cement process control, develop AI Foundation Models for production optimisation and deploy AI Agents to support autonomous decision-making. The scope also covers Smart Factory construction, Cloud-Edge Computing architecture for real-time AI workloads, operator and management dashboards and comprehensive knowledge transfer and training programmes for SCG personnel.
