Justin Timberlake will be cheering on Justin Bieber until the end of time.
After the "Baby" singer closed out the Coachella 2026 Saturday lineup April 18 with his nostalgia-heavy headlining set, the *NSYNC alum couldn't help but praise his performance.
"I know this has been a long road," he captioned his April 20 Instagram post. "And I know it's not always a smooth ride. I'm proud of you - and you should be proud of you too. Sending love."
Alongside his reflection, Timberlake shared a throwback video of himself and a young Bieber at the beginning of his music career. In the second clip, Bieber introduced a cover of Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" during his set from the weekend.
"I grew up listening to Justin Timberlake and so many other beautiful talents. But I remember this like it was yesterday," the singer said onstage as an old video of himself performing the cover played on the massive screen behind him. He teased, "Guitar was out of tune."
Although the "Mirrors" singer didn't bring sexy back at the Indio music festival, Bieber did bring a star-studded lineup of cameos for the final weekend. He revived his "One Less Lonely Girl" serenade tradition, bringing superfan Billie Eilish onstage for the experience.
Meanwhile, SZA joined him to perform their track "Snooze" and Sexyy Red made her appearance for their track "Sweet Spot." Among the biggest blessings on blessings on blessings, however, was Big Sean coming out to perform their "As Long As You Love Me."
And the "Beware" rapper was definitely in his feels after his cameo, telling the 32-year-old onstage, "I just gotta stay, brother, that you know God has his hands on you."
"You dedicated your whole life to this, man. You gave us your whole life," he continued. "Directly or indirectly, I think you taught all of us to believe in ourselves. You taught us all, showed us what purpose was. I'm not trying to name your albums, it's just a coincidence."
Like Timberlake, Big Sean (real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson) emphasized just how proud he was of Bieber's golden career through the ups and downs.
"I've seen a lot of the things you've gone through," he added. "I've seen you at times where it wasn't always beautiful, but you fought through it. In a world where everyone's trying to take over the world, you give over the world, bro."
Bieber wasn't the only celeb to bring beauty and a beat to Coachella 2026. Keep reading for a closer look at everyone who moved and grooved at the annual music festival.
