In a job where the work never stops, today we chose to pause. 💙 Every Wednesday, our fearless leader Sarah Montgomery hosts weekly touchpoints for our department—keeping us aligned on priorities, sharing updates, recognizing wins, and making sure we’re all moving forward together. Because let’s be honest… staffing is HARD, and a little recognition truly goes a long way. Normally, we meet over Teams to include our remote teammates—but today, she switched it up and brought us together in person. We covered all the usual updates, but then did something different: We went around the room and each shared a “win” from the week—personal or professional. Hearing the mix of both was a great reminder that success isn’t one-dimensional, and it’s just as important to celebrate life outside of work as it is inside of it. And then… the fun part—sharing our childhood nicknames 😂 It sounds simple, but those few minutes gave us a chance to connect on a more human level and learn a little more about each other beyond our roles. In staffing, it’s easy to get caught up in the grind—heads down, always moving, because the work never really stops. Time is money, and there’s always more to do. But today was a reminder: Taking a step back to be present, connect, and build relationships matters just as much. We spend so much time within these four walls, and the culture we create and invest in is everything.
