The future of STEM is bright and it’s already in motion. Axalta recently hosted Kids Day at our Global Innovation Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. and our facility in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, U.S., welcoming employees and their families for a day filled with hands-on experiments, interactive activities, and plenty of fun along the way. From exploring the science behind coatings to sparking curiosity through play, Kids Day is all about showing the next generation how innovation comes to life — and that learning can be just as exciting as it is impactful. What stood out most? The energy, creativity, and curiosity these young minds brought to every activity. A big thank you to our volunteers and teams who made these events possible and helped inspire future innovators across both locations. #Axalta #KidsDay #STEM #Innovation #FutureOfWork

On World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we’re reminded that building a strong safety culture starts with a shared commitment to one another. At Axalta, leading with safety is a continuous journey, and one that’s delivering real progress. Our global team has made tremendous progress, improving our incident rate by 51% from 2023 to 2025, with our total recordable incident rate (TRIR) now below 0.2 – performance recognized as world-class within the chemical industry by the American Chemistry Council (ACC). That progress reflects the collective effort across ONE Axalta to make safety part of everything we do. This commitment is reinforced at every level of the organization, including leadership. Our CEO and President, Chris Villavarayan, was recently recognized by the National Safety Council with the 2026 CEOs Who 'Get It' Award, highlighting the importance of leading by example. We’re also proud to see our teams honored by the American Coatings Association, with seven U.S. manufacturing sites earning 2025 Safety Awards, including an Award of Excellence for our Sacramento team recognizing zero lost workday cases over five years. Safety is how we operate. It’s how we protect one another. And it’s how we continue striving for zero incidents. #Axalta #coatings #GlobalSafetyDay #WorldSafetyDay #SafetyFirst

At Axalta, sustainability includes ongoing efforts to improve how we manage materials across our operations. This Earth Day, we’re highlighting an example from our team in Jilin, China, where a site-led improvement is reducing solvent waste and raw material use. Solvents used to clean equipment are often discarded after use, creating waste and increasing demand for new raw materials. To address this, the team implemented a recovery process that captures and reuses solvent rather than discarding it, reducing both waste generation and resource consumption. The impact:   • ~1,000 kg of solvent recovered and reused per day, with plans to scale further   • A reduction in waste requiring disposal   • ~$380K in estimated annual cost savings, reflecting reductions in new solvent purchases and associated disposal costs This work reflects Axalta’s focus on continuous improvement and responsible resource management, supporting more efficient operations across our business. #Axalta #EarthDay #Sustainability #Coatings

As demand for cabinets continues to rise, driven by residential remodeling and growing expectations for interior wood finishes, so do expectations on the production floor, where manufacturers must deliver durable, consistent finishes while moving faster and more efficiently. That’s driving a shift toward coating systems that can perform under pressure—combining durability and consistency with simpler, more efficient application processes. That’s the thinking behind Zencore™, a new cabinet coating system from Axalta. Built on the proven chemistry of Zenamel™, Zencore™ is designed specifically for large-scale production environments, helping streamline coating processes while maintaining the durability and consistency manufacturers expect. By reducing coating steps from three to two, Zencore™ enables faster throughput and greater efficiency without compromising finish quality.
