  • Please join us in welcoming our newest Board Member, Deanna, to CASA of Westmoreland! 💙 Learn more about Deanna: "Deanna was born and raised here in Westmoreland county. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hill University, she immediately dove into human services. After over 11 years in the field, Deanna found her way back to her preferred line of work: advocacy. She is currently the Advocacy Program Manager at Blackburn center. Deanna was previously an employee and CASA volunteer, which gives her a unique perspective serving on the Board of Directors. She is excited to bring her knowledge of advocacy in both community and systems settings to CASA." We are grateful for her leadership and commitment to ensuring every child has a powerful voice. "Allie Arendas is an educational leader with 27 years of experience serving students, educators, and school communities. She is the Head of Lower School at Valley School of Ligonier and previously worked at the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit and the Diocese of Greensburg, supporting and collaborating with schools and districts throughout Westmoreland County. Allie has taught as an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Education at St. Vincent College and has served for four years on the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools’ Commission for Accreditation. Allie cares deeply for young people and is committed to their growth and success."
