Today the CatsOnly.vet team spent nearly four dedicated hours in Feline Species Training with two very special guests, CatsOnly Medical Advisory Board Members and leading feline experts, Dr. Margie Scherk and Dr. Mikel Delgado, PhD. Part two is next week! 🐈 We’re not simply training our team to work with Cats. We’re building a team of feline experts who understand the species in front of them, from biology and behavior to communication, emotional wellbeing and the #HumanCatBond. 💛 This level of feline specific training is a foundational part of the CatsOnly model and how we’re building a different veterinary experience from the ground up. We were honored to have CatsOnly.Vet co-founders Kristin Wuhrman and Scott Maloney participate in the inaugural Feline Veterinary Medical Association Feline Summit alongside leaders from across veterinary medicine, industry, technology, research, education, and feline welfare. One message resonated throughout the Summit: advancing feline healthcare requires more than medical advances. It requires rethinking the system itself around the Cat. As the Summit concluded, participants recognized that Cats experience veterinary care, handling, and their environment differently, and that intentionally designed systems, experiences, products, and services can lead to better outcomes. 😻 That is exactly what CatsOnly is building.
