When people thrive, business thrives.

About us

The Corporate Impact Lab is where senior executives pilot bold workforce strategies, find their peer network, and build enterprises where people and business thrive. The organization delivers impact through its core solutions: a Cross-Sector Peer Community, Workforce Well-Being & AI Executive Fellowship, and Lab@ including its marquee offering, Strategy Accelerators. Unlike programs that end with recommendations or prescriptive solutions, the Impact Lab is customized to each executive's unique context and provides ongoing support as leaders navigate internal systems, build business cases, and drive workforce strategy change. Its partners include Fortune 100s, major consumer brands, and influential SMBs, which employ nearly 5 million workers and represent $2.65 trillion in market capitalization. Over 500,000 workers have already benefited from implemented investments in expanded paid leave, emergency savings programs, and living wage assessments. Companies in the Impact Lab are shifting how they approach skills-based hiring that opens opportunities beyond traditional credentials, career pathway programs creating advancement from entry-level to management, and AI integration ### “The initial workshop that I attended was just such a transformative experience… And it's an opportunity to develop something that is strategically important to your organization, that you feel passionate about personally, and to get that workshopped and iterated on and improved in some really magical ways.” — Head of Workforce Innovation, Fortune 500 Industrial Manufacturing Company “You were really intentional in cultivating our ability to learn from others in different industries, from each other, and frankly, from that list of advisors that you had on hand that became like this kind of personal board of advisors during the period of time that we needed them, to help us define our strategy.” — Head of Opportunity & Social Impact, Fortune 500 Multinational Retail Corp

I’ve spent the past 9 months as part of the Corporate Impact Lab’s Workforce Well-Being & AI Executive Fellowship, alongside a group of leaders across industries, exploring one core question: How do we build organisations that perform at the highest level — and do so in a way that can be sustained? What made this experience stand out wasn’t just the content, but the candour in the room. Real conversations about trade-offs, leadership, AI, and what it actually takes to deliver transformation in complex environments — with worker well-being at the core. Over time, those conversations shifted from ideas to action. From “what if” to “what now.” From individual ambition to collective momentum. I’m leaving with greater clarity on what it really takes: 👉 Data and AI give us more insight than ever before 👉 Sustained performance depends on how well we support and enable our people — not as a side conversation, but as a core driver of outcomes 👉 Impact comes from translating that insight into practical, real-world change If anyone in my network is interested in being nominated for the next Corporate Impact Lab Fellowship cohort, feel free to message me. Huge thanks to Corporate Impact Lab, Charter, the programme leads, and an exceptional group of fellows who challenged, supported, and inspired in equal measure. Some places don’t just offer rest, they bring you back into alignment. That’s exactly what Santa Fe did for me last October. Before I go any further, I want to pause and acknowledge Tolu Lawrence and the entire Corporate Impact Lab team. Being in that space with them stirred something in me, something I’ve been meaning to reflect on for a while. And now feels like a moment to finally give it voice. It was my first time in Santa Fe, and my first stay at Bishop’s Lodge. It felt like an exhale I didn’t know I needed. A small stream ran just outside my room, its steady rhythm grounding me in a way that was real, unforced, and deeply restorative. The optional hike was exhilarating, sharing a few photos here from the trail overlooking the Lodge and the surrounding landscape. I was there for Corporate Impact Lab’s Strategy Accelerator, surrounded by leaders and facilitators who showed up with real intention. The blend of outdoor moments, intimate circles, and focused sessions created a rhythm that filled both my personal and professional cups. The opportunity was unexpected—and so were the outcomes. We shared our moonshots as part of a presentation (and we “launched” rockets in celebration, see photo). I left feeling recalibrated, aligned, and reminded of what it feels like to be in rooms that make space for your voice, your gifts, and your becoming. Since then, I’ve stepped into several more spaces that carried that same energy. And each time, I hear my grandmother’s words echo back to me: “Your gifts will make room for you.” Never forget what’s inside you, and if you do, stay open to the people and experiences that remind you and help unlock it again. With all that said, if you ever have the opportunity to be part of Corporate Impact Lab’s Accelerator experience, I couldn’t recommend it more.

These investments have included expanded paid leave reaching more families, emergency savings programs providing real security, and living wage assessments that change how companies value work. When these practices spread through our cross-sector network, they set new standards that shift industry norms and transform workplaces for millions of workers. Several months into the Workforce Well-Being & AI Executive Fellowship, I’ve been reflecting on how timely this experience has been. As more and more companies (including mine) are incorporating AI into their day-to-day work and strategy with dedicated taskforces and governance models rapidly taking shape the accelerator created space to step back and think more intentionally about how this transformation intersects with workforce well-being and performance. What has stood out most and been so helpful, is the peer community. Think of spending time with exceptional leaders across industries from financial services to tech to consumer sectors with challenges that are so similar, integrating AI responsibly while sustaining performance and strengthening workforce well-being. The Santa Fe Strategy Accelerator was a defining moment I think for so many of us. Stepping away from the day-to-day grind created space to apply practical frameworks, pressure-test ideas, and explore how AI can elevate the employee experience, to be something that is role enhancing, not just a tool to drive efficiency. These insights are already shaping how I’m thinking about workforce priorities heading into 2026 and sharing these insights with leaders & teammates across my company. I'm grateful to be learning alongside leaders committed to building organizations where people and performance thrive together. I hope you chose to learn more about the Corporate Impact Lab, and their incredible work!

Posts like Jason's are why we do what we do. When we began incubating the Corporate Impact Lab, we saw a clear gap: corporate professionals trying to drive meaningful change had the vision and commitment, but rarely had the space to step back, think strategically, and develop their approach with the right support. Our programs are designed to solve this: creating purposeful time and space for talented leaders (like Jason) to focus on their strategy and impact work, paired with proven frameworks and access to world-class facilitators and subject matter experts. It's this combination -- dedicated space to think and build, structured methodology, and peer expertise -- that allows real breakthroughs to happen. What makes me proudest isn't just the curriculum, but the community that forms and the real-world impact our fellows drive afterward. They return to their organizations with refined strategies, stronger networks, and the tools to translate ideas into action. We see it in policy shifts, program launches, and the ripple effects when empowered leaders influence their organizations from within. Huge thanks to our incredible team (captured below + Sandy Maltzman who is a genius at creating space to think, Alison Omens' strategic guidance, and Massella Dukuly's AI/change management expertise) and to the facilitators and experts who bring such depth to the experience. If you're working to drive impact inside your organization, whether around workforce well-being, AI, sustainability, or other challenges, I'm happy to connect you with our community. Drop me a note if you're curious about our programs. CC: my fellow Chiefs #workforcetransformation #aitransformation #wellbeing #futureofwork #strategicplanning

I can't rave enough about the Corporate Impact Lab. Tolu Lawrence, Kelley Frances Fenelon, PhD, Laura Thornton, and the team are doing a phenomenal job of empowering leaders inside companies with tools and insights to more effectively drive change inside their organizations. I've seen this firsthand as part of one of their fantastic accelerator programs. Not only was I able to meet some remarkably impressive and talented peers, but also a group of brillant subject matter experts--Matthew Bahl and Sarah Kalloch among them. I also was blown away by Alex Gallafent's abilities as a facilitator and guide. I'm a (very) grateful fellow in their Workforce Well-Being & AI program, and don't hesitate to reach out if you're considering partnering with them.

Kenneth Hales II, MBA embodies the kind of leader for which the Corporate Impact Lab and Charter created the Workforce Well-being and AI Executive Fellowship. We wanted to give leaders space to move beyond efficiency narratives and grapple with the harder questions about AI, workforce resilience, and what it means to lead with people at the center. Watching participants engage across sectors, challenge assumptions, and return with frameworks that connect responsible innovation to employee well-being and economic security...that's the leadership transformation we're here to support. Kenneth, we're grateful for leaders like you who show up ready to learn and lead differently. #futureofwork #leadership #executivestrategy #AItransformation

Last year, I was honored to join the Corporate Impact Lab's Workforce Well-Being and AI Executive Fellowship. As the new year began, I found myself reflecting on how timely and grounding this experience has been, and how fortunate I am to learn alongside leaders deeply committed to people, purpose, and impact. As organizations navigate rapid technological change, this Fellowship has created space for something rare: meaningful peer-to-peer learning. Hearing how leaders across sectors approach shared challenges around workforce well-being and responsible innovation has been especially powerful. The Santa Fe strategy accelerator was a defining moment. Those conversations pushed me to think more boldly about what AI can enable when it is intentionally designed to strengthen employee well-being and shape culture and strategy, including how we support financial security, retirement readiness, and economic resilience as roles and skills evolve. The frameworks we're exploring are helping me see AI not only as a tool for efficiency, but as a way to improve the employee experience and create new pathways for people to adapt and thrive over the course of their careers. Grateful for this community, and carrying these insights into my priorities for 2026 and beyond! So proud to see our Corporate Impact Lab team leading this way. Loren's reflection below captures exactly why we invest in creating these spaces; not just to adopt new tools, but to build the clarity and courage needed to lead through complexity. The questions we ask when we slow down shape the organizations we build when we speed back up. Thank you, Loren, for showing up fully and bringing nuanced insights back to our work together, and back to your organization. #workforcewellbeing #ai #leadership

Leadership doesn’t get better by moving faster—it gets better when we create space to think. This fall, I participated in the Workforce Well‑Being & AI Strategy Accelerator in Santa Fe, hosted by Corporate Impact Lab. Stepping away from day‑to‑day execution and into intentional reflection with fellow leaders was a powerful reset. What stayed with me was the presence—leaders slowing down, asking harder questions, and exploring how we lead at the intersection of AI, performance, and human well‑being. A reminder I carry forward: real leadership growth happens when we make room for clarity, connection, and courage—not just more tools. Grateful for the space, the conversations, and the leaders who showed up fully. #Leadership #WorkforceWellBeing #AIandWork #TheFutureOfWork #Iworkforcomcast
