I’m incredibly proud of my students in our Engineering Elective course! 👏 They did an amazing job designing and presenting their projects online, confidently explaining their ideas in front of the camera. What impressed me most was how they demonstrated the stability of their designs and clearly showed how their structures can carry loads effectively, true young engineers in action! Today, we also made our lesson more engaging by using Curipod to create interactive slides, which brought more energy and fun into our learning experience. It was wonderful to see such active participation and creativity from everyone. So we discovered a thing this week…Curipod! In this AI infused world we have to expose our scholars to innovative practices. Using AI to score our responses has better prepared them to create organized and cohesive writing samples. We are on our way to greatness. Not only in Reading, but Science and Math as well. I will admit to being nervous when I heard that Curi-Quiz was being changed but I hadn't spoken to Yuliia Demchyna then. She took an old favourite, spoke to the teachers who use it and acted on their feedback. Then she goes back to them to ask what they think of the changes. My classes love the mix of challenges in this updated Curipod activity. I love the fact that this is a company that doesn't pay lip service to talking to teachers but makes it part of their ethos #engagement #AIinEducation #curipodambassador

It is approaching exam season here in Scotland and lots of us are bracing for revision sessions. If you are looking to give your revision a shake up, may I suggest trying Curipod? You can upload your own materials or start from scratch. There is also a huge range of ready to use lessons to choose from. I've been using it for three years and I see every day how this platform helps learners grow in confidence and attainment. I don't have formal research data to show you but I do have the words of my students themselves. I gathered these from my S3 classes as part of my submission to the Digital Educator Awards Scotland for the Digital Influencer badge. I asked for their honest opinion of Curipod.
