The unmistakable sparkle in their eyes. The ambition in their body language. The energy in a room full of people looking ahead at what their future could be. You could feel it immediately. Last night, I had the opportunity to return to The University of Texas at Dallas as keynote speaker for the Draper Pitch Competition Finals. Students, alumni, investors, and industry leaders came together to compete for a $350,000 prize pool — but more importantly, to build something meaningful. Coming back to UTD always means a lot to me. It’s where my academic journey began, and it’s why creating the Dr. Sulman Ahmed Scholarship Fund to support underserved students was so important. This place shaped me — and it’s exciting to see the next generation now shaping what’s ahead. What stood out most was the drive in that room. The hunger to build, to solve, to create. I left them with three thoughts that have guided my own journey: 1. The world is changing fast — adaptability is no longer optional. 2. Building something meaningful will always take longer than you think — stay in it and persevere. 3. There is no such thing as an overnight success — just years of persistence, setbacks, and learning. Moments like this matter. They create momentum, confidence, and belief. Grateful to be back — and even more excited for what this next generation will go on to build. Our team had a meaningful week connecting with doctors and students across the Boston dental community 🤝 At Yankee Dental Congress, we spent time with doctors interested in exploring ownership pathways through Ideal Dental Partners and having thoughtful conversations about long-term career growth. We also enjoyed hosting D3 and D4 students from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine for an evening focused on connection, mentorship, and career exploration. Thank you to everyone who spent time with us throughout the week. We hope to stay connected and continue the conversations ahead.✨

Every smile has a story. This is one we’re grateful to share. Fenton, a guest at Ideal Dental, has spent years inspiring kids as a dance instructor and motivational speaker, all while living with the lasting effects of a past sports injury to his mouth. When he came to Ideal Dental, he was finally able to receive the restorative care he needed to address years of dental challenges and restore his smile. “If you’re not comfortable with how you look, that’s a problem,” Fenton shared. “Dr. Ashton changed that for me and helped me feel confident in myself again.” Now Fenton has a new smile that finally matches his big personality — and we’re grateful we could step in and support him along the way.💚✨
